What's Happening at the Community Centre?

UPDATED COVID-19 Protocols

Effective Monday, October 19, 2020 only one spectator per one on ice participant should attend sports events, including hockey games/practices and skating until further notice.

COVID-19 has changed the way we can operate our arenas and we need a plan that will keep people safe. This includes participants, fans, coaching staff, and facility staff. SMCC has developed a return policy that will adhere to current health and safety standards as prescribed by the Province of Manitoba, Skate Canada, and Hockey Manitoba Guidelines. It is essential that participants, coaches, spectators, staff, and event attendees adhere to these policies. To view this policy please look under the ABOUT tab.

SMCC Receives Grant

We are excited to announce that we are the proud recipient of $5000 from the Farm Credit Canada (FCC) AgriSpirit Fund to help install new heating, ventilation, and a fresh air system for the Stony Mountain Community Centre. The FCC AgriSpirit Fund supports rural communities at the heart of Canadian agriculture which supports the projects that help keep these communities vibrant hubs for rural Canadians. In 2020, FCC gave $1.5 million to 92 different community groups across Canada.
